Senior Portfolio Manager

Here at Kuflink we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Portfolio Manager to join our thriving team. 

The key purpose of this role is to work closely with the Loan Management Team to manage existing loans, in compliance with the Collections policy and our regulators expectations, ensuring that repayments are received in a timely manner.

Other duties will include:

  • Apply any funds received to the correct account immediately
  • Pay funds out, as required, correctly and promptly
  • Resolve queries promptly and refer any expressions of dissatisfaction/complaints to the Compliance Officer/Manager
  • Calculate and charge/pay interest accurately on a monthly basis
  • Raise any issues regarding late payment or non-payment (at the end of the term) with the customer in a timely manner and in accordance with the Collections Policy
  • Raise possible issues with problem loans early and suggest recovery strategies with a view to recovering 100% of the loan
  • Ensure all records/systems are maintained in accordance with GDPR rules
  • Communicate with Lenders/Borrowers as required throughout the lifecycle of the facility
  • Comply with all relevant policies, procedures and FCA regulations
  • Ensure own knowledge is current, up to date and relevant, raising any personal or team knowledge gaps in a timely manner
  • Raise any improvement/efficiency suggestions with Line Manager/Ops Manager

Senior Portfolio Managers will need as a minimum:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working within a regulatory environment
  • Ability to respond quickly to training and adapt to changes within the industry
  • Be able to maintain up to date knowledge of all outstanding collection issues
  • Self-motivated upbeat personality
  • Senior Portfolio Managers will be responsible for working with the Accounts team as required, during audit periods and possibly working with external auditors
  • Respond to all data requests from the wider team or Senior Management promptly.
  • Taking ownership and management of tasks to successfully deliver a high-quality collections outcomes
  • Additionally, representing the company in a positive and professional manner
